Yu Yuan

My name is Yu Yuan. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. in Economics and minors in Statistics and Chinese. During my undergraduate studies, I developed an interest in data analysis and the application of quantitative methods to economic and financial problems. I also gained practical experience through internships, which helped me better understand how data and analytical skills can be applied in the financial industry. I chose the MQE program because I wanted to further strengthen my quantitative and analytical skills while gaining more hands-on experience. I am particularly interested in finance and data-driven decision making, and I look forward to learning how to apply the skills I develop in the program to real-world problems. After completing the MQE program, I hope to pursue a career in the financial industry and continue building my experience in this field.
